A bit of development history
We moved out of the old corrugated changing rooms in June 1996 into our new clubhouse with 4 changing rooms, a smart club room and all mod cons. An extension to provide additional storage and allow for the club room to be increased in size was added some 10 years later.
Never ones to stand still we intend to continue to improve our facilities for the benefit of our members and the wider sporting public. The list below details the developments we currently have planning permission for. We intend in early 2022 to make further representations to the States to provide for further improvements over and above those already completed or detailed below.

Approved planning applications and completed projects (date of completion)
- 24/9/22 Patio upgrade - The patio has been completely refurbished. 4 stainless steel and glass balustrades have been fitted along the front edge of the patio along with new access ramps. Thank you to Pula investments for allowing us to re purpose the balustrades, handrails and bench seating from the La Grande Mare hotel.
- 17/9/22 - Handrails - New stainless steel handrails have been fitted either side of the main club entrance to aid those with mobility issues.
- 17/9/22 Patio doors - The patio doors have been replaced and relocated forward to the edge of the patio thereby creating additional space inside the club room. At the same time disabled access ramps have been created to improve access. We are very grateful to the Guernsey Social Investment Fund for their generous support with this project.
- 30/3/22 - We have revamped the TV's in the bar which now comprise of a Samsung 75", 65", the presentation screen runs on a Samsung 55". There is another Samsung 55" in the snug.
- 01/5/2020 - Dugouts - New Perspex dugouts installed for pitch one. The old Perspex dugouts have been moved to pitch two to replace the wooden structures. Thank you to Sure Guernsey for their support with this project.
- 31/3/2019 - Following the recent water leak the flooring throughout the changing rooms, toilets and lobby area has been replaced (see picture in gallery).
- 31/1/2019 - We have recently revamped the heating and hot water system with the old oil boiler and radiators being replaced with an all electric system.
- 31/3/2018 - With the exception of one of the garage units all lighting is now all LED providing a significant reduction in our electricity bills and helping to save the planet.
- 28/3/2018 - The patio has been extended to provide additional seating areas and a wall erected at the end of the patio to help alleviate wind issues off the coast.
- 01/3/2017 - In conjunction with the Guernsey Cardiac Action Group and the Lions Club of Guernsey we have installed a Public Access Defibrillator near front entrance.
- Canopy - Full permission granted to provide roofing over the patio area, this will allow spectators to watch matches under cover.
- Archery Store - Permission has been granted to erect a new archery store on the far side of the site (behind the archery shelter). This will allow the existing archery store to be repurposed.d It is hoped to complete this project during the Summer of 2025.
- New Groundsman's Store - This development would free up two of the existing garages to be repurposed for use primarily by the disability group thereby providing an additional revenue stream to the club. The new store would be larger than the existing two garages to allow for additional equipment to be stored.
- Internal reconfiguration - Should a new archery store be built space will be available to create a new larger home changing room. This will in turn allow for the two smaller changing rooms to be merged thereafter providing 4 very good sized spaces.
- Clock - we have full permission for a clock to be fitted on the pitch side roof of the extension. A clock is a traditional feature on a sports building but not at present a priority.
